My first official "belly picture"! This is our babies home. Taken at 12 weeks and 1 day pregnant with our twins.
As the weeks go on, I'm getting more and more excited about finding out if they are boys or girls. We have another appointment scheduled in November, which would put me around 16 weeks. My doctor will meet with us and then give us an order to have our ultrasound done with a perinatologist at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids. Perinatologists are specialists with ultrasounds and multiple births. Because of having twins, we won't be able to have many of the tests done - however we are perfectly fine with that considering there is no health problem that our babies might have that would make us love them any less. So, no amniocentesis for us! We hope that when the specialist does the next ultrasound, we pray that the babies are cooperating and will allow us to see if they are little boys or little girls!
Once we know that, we can register for baby showers and plan our nursery! Yay! I love nesting!
